Burwash Larder are absolutely chuffed to have won the Velvet Magazine Food & Drink award for ‘Best Farm Shop/Deli in Cambridgeshire 2025.
The Velvet awards finalists are based on public nominations, which makes this all the more special. Thank you to everyone who has and continues to support us.
The biggest thanks must go to our incredible team. The judge Michelle Alston’s comments included this gem – “exceptionally trained staff, the team’s dedication, passion and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service are a great example of retail excellence”. Without this group of fantastic (& slightly insane) individuals the tough life of independent business would be so much harder. They make each day a delight and we are so lucky to have them in our lives.
